Welcome – we are pleased that you are visiting www.convena-polymers.de.

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Below, we briefly explain which data we collect, process and use, when we do so and for what purposes.

Legal basis

The German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and, subsequently, the German Telemedia Act (TMG) protect personal data. This means data relating to natural persons. Data relating to legal entities is not covered by this protection. Personal data consists of individual details about personal or factual circumstances that can be attributed to you, such as your name together with your telephone number or email address. Information that cannot be directly associated with your actual identity, such as content displayed to you on a website, is not included.

What data is stored when you use our website?

By using our website, you consent to our processing the data you provide in the manner described here. We undertake to collect only the data you provide and to protect your data at all times. We do not process data other than that provided by you.

Access to www.convena-polymers.de is logged for administrative and statistical purposes. Whenever a file on this server is retrieved, or an attempt is made to retrieve it, information about that process is stored in a log file.

The following information is stored for each request:

  • URL of the requested content
  • Date and time of the request
  • Volume of data transferred
  • Messages indicating whether the request succeeded or failed, requesting domain, web browser and IP address of the requesting computer

The data is not personal; we therefore cannot determine which user retrieved which data. We do not attempt to collect this information. We and our service providers evaluate the data for statistical purposes using standard website analysis methods to improve our offering continuously. You remain anonymous as an individual user. Older log entries are deleted regularly.
